Erin Napier Bio
Erin and Ben Napier, stars of HGTV’s Home Town, live and restore homes in the small town of Laurel, Mississippi. Erin, an artist who started her career in corporate graphic design, embraces a passion for preserving and renovating historic homes. In the couple's series, home-buying families benefit from Erin’s design savvy and her imaginative house-portraits as well as Ben's building expertise, woodworking skills and custom renovations. The HGTV hit has inspired several spinoffs, including Home Town Takeover and Home Town Kickstart. The Napiers have graced the covers of magazines including People, Country Living, Southern Living and Cowboys and Indians. They were also named to Fortune’s 50 Greatest Leaders List in 2021. Ben and Erin have a New York Times best-selling book, Make Something Good Today, and in 2022 Erin authored her first children’s book, The Lantern House. When they aren’t renovating homes, the couple keeps themselves busy with their two daughters, Helen and Mae — and with operating Laurel Mercantile, a shop in downtown Laurel that specializes in heirloom wares and durable goods made in the United States. Erin and Ben recently expanded their operation to include a factory producing cutting boards and countertops in order to boost the local economy.
