Go Behind the Scenes of 'A Christmas Open House' With Ben and Erin Napier
Meet the cast and get all the details on HGTV's new Christmas movie, A Christmas Open House, featuring Home Town hosts Ben and Erin Napier.
One of two holiday movies now streaming on discovery+, A Christmas Open House features HGTV’s own Ben and Napier, hosts of Home Town. The film follows the story of Atlanta property stager Melissa Norwood (Katie Stevens) as she teams up with her old high school crush, real estate agent David Phelps (Victor Rasuk), and local artists Henry and Sarah Wright (Ben and Erin) to prepare and sell her mom’s home before the holidays.

In the spirit of the season, HGTV went behind the scenes of A Christmas Open House to meet the cast and get all the details.
The biggest takeaway: Filming a Christmas movie in the summer (read: 95-degree weather) is hot. “Not sweating will be the biggest challenge of the day,” Ben said while getting ready to film for the day.

As Erin noted, Ben’s role as a woodworker in a Christmas movie is all too fitting. “Someday he’s going to be Santa Claus,” she said.
