"Looking ahead to 2025, I anticipate a shift in curb appeal trends towards an emphasis on quality detailing, thoughtful material selection and the use of dark, deep and rich colors," says Chris Reebals, President and Principal Architect of Christopher Architecture & Interiors. "This marks a shift from the monochromatic whites that dominated the late 2010s and early 2020s."

This year, expect natural roof materials to be on the rise. "If I could choose just one upgrade to enhance my home's curb appeal, it would be investing in a higher-quality roof made from natural materials," says Chris. "I have a strong preference for options like cedar, cypress, slate or even terra cotta tiles over asphalt shingles. These materials not only elevate the home's aesthetic but also offer durability and timeless appeal — it's a choice I'd make whenever the budget allows."

Outdoor entertaining becomes increasingly popular year after year, so it's no surprise that outdoor dining spaces are here to stay for 2025, taking centerstage of outdoor spaces. "We are excited about the trend toward outdoor dining and entertainment opportunities. Since COVID there has been an increased demand for such spaces," says Micaela Quinton, Director of Design at Copper Sky.
