Pointers From a Pro
Trixie Mattel of Trixie Motel (streaming on Max and Discovery+) explains the perks of buying a pink place.
Pink Matches Everything. Trixie considers lighter pinks a neutral, “like a really warmed-up cream,” she says. Pair pink with white or other neutrals; it also works well with green. “It makes your yard look so healthy.”
Accessorizing Is Easy. “You can never go wrong with a pink flamingo in the yard,” says Trixie. She also loves gold accents. Just try not to overdo it. “If you over-accessorize, pink can go dollhouse.”
You'll Stand Out! A pink house is a strong choice: “It tells people who you are before they even come into your home.” Expect passersby to stop and snap photos — and embrace it. “Pink is magic.”
