We've survived the wait for Season 2. Kim Wolfe is coming back to HGTV in new episodes of Why the Heck Did I Buy This House? on Tuesday, Dec. 26, at 9|8c (and streaming same day on Max).

What to Expect From Season 2

Armed with tenacity and ingenuity, the former CBS Survivor winner and mom of three will rescue San Antonio-area homeowners suffering from major buyer’s remorse. Of course, we'll get to see Kim get her hands dirty during every phase of the renovation. Ultimately, she’ll save these families stuck in lifeless spaces overrun by dysfunctional layouts, outdated style and overlooked potential and help them finally fall in love with their reinvented dream home.

In the first episode of Season 2, Kim meets a couple desperate to turn their home of choppy, mismatched rooms — including a kitchen with the refrigerator located down the hall — into their ideal forever home. To complete the massive project, she’ll reconfigure the floorplan to create an open concept living area and kitchen featuring a custom butcher block island and built-in bar with mirrored backsplash — as well as a main bedroom suite boasting a statement, vaulted ceiling. As the season continues, Kim will rescue more overwhelmed clients from structural nightmares and unusable square footage to deliver stunning home overhauls.
