June is LGBT Pride Month, and it’s a good reminder to buy from more LGBTQ-owned businesses now and all year long. We’ve rounded up our favorite companies to shop, from furniture to textiles to decor. Check out our top picks below and start supporting more LGBTQ+ designers throughout your home and life.

HOMEWARES + FURNITURE

MINNA

Founded by Sara Berks in 2013, MINNA has grown into a studio, storefront and online shop specializing in textiles and homewares heavily inspired by Bauhaus style. The Hudson, New York company is a “queer-led business which informs our approach to just about everything we do.”

Otherwild

Retail-store-meets-graphic-design-studio, Otherwild is packed with fun, funky housewares, from towels to incense scrolls. Founded in 2012 by LGBTQ artist Rachel Berks, the queer-identified shop has a really cool kitchen and tabletop collection with unique, '70s-chic finds.

TRNK

Co-founded and curated by Tariq Dixon, TRNK is a high-end, contemporary furniture and decor brand intended to feel "collected, not decorated" with unique statement pieces for every room.

Bobby Berk Home

If you love Bobby Berk's room makeovers on Queer Eye, you can now shop his aesthetic online! Bobby Berk Home is available at select retailers including Wayfair. The collection includes modular sofas, accent furniture and trendy cane pieces all with a hint of Midcentury modern and Parisian influences. We're obsessed with this cabinet. The silhouette riffs on both Art Deco and midcentury modern styles, but also incorporates cane panels.

Darling Spring

If you haven't heard of Darling Spring, brace yourself for a sapphic wonderland of homewares, linens and more. Founded by Eril Serbetci and Banu Tangule, this brand is all about celebrating female artists and designers. We are obsessed with the flashback collection of enamel kitchenware.

Nate Berkus

HGTV designer and host Nate Berkus is known for a curated look that's lovable and liveable. And even if you can't swing design services from his Chicago firm, you can snag his bedding and decor from Target. The collection, which has been one of our favorites for years, always has a great selection of calming neutrals in trendy textures.

Roverlund

Vogue alum Jamie Knowles launched Roverlund in 2019 and it's the perfect combination of style and sustainability for pet accessories. The camo pet carriers have a signature pop of color thanks to the mountain-climbing grade rope. Even better: The carrier converts into a backpack.

Lockwood

"Our goal is that you immediately feel at home when you enter," says Mackenzi Farquer, owner of Lockwood. Farquer opened the home goods store in 2007 in Astoria and has since expanded to five stores around New York City and a massive online shop, too.

DECOR + GIFTS

Pride Candle Co.

If you're not a member of the LGBTQ+ community, you might not know that each stripe on the LGBT Pride flag represents something. Red is life. Orange is healing. Yellow is sunlight. Green is nature. Blue is serenity. Purple is spirit. And Chicago maker and artist Tim O'Keefe has created a line of handcrafted candles with a scent that represents each of these colors. Even better, 10 percent of proceeds from Pride Candle Co. are donated to LGBT causes.

June Bug and Darlin

Whether you love buying cross-stitch pieces or want to try your hand at one, June Bug and Darlin has the cutest patterns. The queer Etsy shop in Portland, Oregon has tons of floral designs with a whimsical cottagecore vibe as well as embroidery hoops for sale in soft, pastels and PDFs under $10 for instant download.

Queer Candle Co.

Business partners and queer couple Ab Gibson and Al Rose have been pouring candles from their NYC home since 2017. The hobby grew into Queer Candle Co., a line of soy wax candles infused with herbs they grow themselves. And each month, the company donates 10 percent of their monthly earnings to the Sylvia Rivera Law Project, an NYC grassroots organization working to "guarantee that all people are free to self-determine gender identity and expression, regardless of income or race and without facing harassment, discrimination or violence."

Show & Tell

Founded by Alyah Baker in 2011, Show & Tell Concept Shop features a handmade line of decor and throws as well as curated accessories from other LGBTQIA+ owned and inclusive brands. The Oakland company also sells vibrant, colorful quilts and wall hangings made by Alyah's mom.

MALIN+GOETZ

Luxury hotels around the world love to stock suites with MALIN+GOETZ soaps and lotions. You can snag the same body washes and balms on Amazon, but the New York apothecary founded by Matthew Malin and Andrew Goetz also features luxe candles and perfumes inspired by high-end materials such as leather and dark rum that make great gifts.

GARDEN

Grand Prismatic Seed

"Our seeds are happy," says Grand Prismatic Seed. Located in the foothills of the Wasatch Range in Fruit Heights, Utah, the farm, co-founded and co-owned by couple James Young and Guy Banner, grows open-pollinated seeds with a focus on plants that make amazing, vibrant natural dyes. You can even shop these online, from Japanese indigo to a variety of marigolds.

Hudson Valley Seed Co.

Co-founded by Ken Greene and Doug Muller, Hudson Valley Seed Co. is known for its colorful seed Art Boxes for meadows and gardens. The upstate New York farm specializes in heirloom and open-pollinated garden seeds. And the custom Pansy Mix box displays artwork from Paul Harfleet of the Pansy Project, an art movement planting pansies at the site of homophobic abuse.

Deer Queer

Etsy is full of amazing LGBTQ+ apparel brands and T-shirt shops, but Deer Queer caught our eye for its collection of plant tees, from rainbow monsteras to cactus to wildflower bouquets. The shop also has plant tees with colors from the trans pride flag, lesbian pride flag, bisexual pride flag and pansexual pride flag.
