Backyard With Woven Pod Chair

Because this backyard was large and sloped, designers made an effort to divide the levels into outdoor rooms and make graceful transitions between the pool, patios, a sunken seating area and a lower terrace.

A bold, modern fire table warms the sunken sitting area down at the pool's edge. On the pool's other side sits a poolhouse.

The designers worked with the backyard's slope to create graceful transitions between levels. A seating area organized around a built-in fire bowl beckons at one end of the pool.
