UPDATE: NOVEMBER 16, 2023
We're marking our calendars and checking them twice! Married to Real Estate is returning to HGTV just in time for our post-holiday appointment with the couch. Season 3 premieres Thursday December 28 at 9|8c on HGTV (and will be available to stream the same day and time on Max).
The new, 12-episode season will feature Egypt Sherrod, a real estate broker and designer, and her husband Mike Jackson, an expert builder, as they help more Atlanta families buy houses with potential and transform them into dream homes. We'll also watch the power couple juggle running a property businesses, managing a home and raising three daughters.
During the first episode, Egypt and Mike scout houses in Roswell for a couple on the hunt for a home with an office, playroom and yoga studio. Mike and Egypt will infuse the clients’ newly renovated space with a natural, minimalist style — including a kitchen boasting sleek, flat-panel cabinets and fluted wood accents. Also this season: Egypt and Mike share memorable family experiences as their pre-teen Kendall takes up the viola while younger daughter Harper learns to ride a bike. They’ll also renovate a new office for their booming businesses.
Stream the first two seasons of Married to Real Estate now on Max. Keep up with everything Egypt and Mike on HGTV's digital and social platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and HGTV.com. Plus, follow Egypt (@egyptsherrod) and Mike (@djfadelf) on Instagram.
MARCH 1, 2023
More Egypt and Mike coming at you. HGTV ordered a mid-season renewal of 12 one-hour episodes for Married to Real Estate starring real estate broker and designer Egypt Sherrod and her husband, expert builder Mike Jackson, who help families buy and renovate dream homes in metro Atlanta.
Their new season is slated to premiere in early 2024.
“From the beginning, we knew Egypt and Mike would be our next big stars,” says Loren Ruch, head of content for HGTV. “It’s more than their expertise, passion and authenticity that make them appealing to our audience, it’s also their aspirational relationship, love of community and family life. This combination fueled the double-digit ratings increases for Married to Real Estate this season and helped us attract new viewers.”
As HGTV does, show producers surprised Egypt and Mike with the renewal news on set in the cutest way. (Spoiler: It involves Harper.) So, we already know Season 3 is going to be good.
Season 2 episodes of Married to Real Estate air on HGTV Thursday nights at 9|8c.
