HGTV fans first met Page Turner as half of a dynamic duo in Flip or Flop Nashville, but now she's back in her hometown of Los Angeles, ready to step into the spotlight solo as the host of Fix My Flip. Throughout the series, Page invests her time, expertise — and even her own money to rescue rookie flippers who are in over their heads. Of course, Page is a total boss when it comes to flipping houses, but there's other fascinating sides to this real estate extraordinaire. She's an eternal optimist, an author, a major go-getter, a fierce boxer, a super-proud mom and so much more. Here's why we love Page (and why we know you'll love her, too).

She Radiates Positive Energy

Whether on or off screen, Page's sunny disposition is undeniable. When I caught up with her on a recent Friday afternoon, she was beaming with positivity even though she was stranded in a Starbucks parking lot waiting for a tow truck. "I'm sitting here in a broken down Tesla. I've got a flat … and I'm so happy. The sun is shining. It's 76 degrees," she exclaims.

She's Excited for HGTV Fans to See Fix My Flip

"There are some twists and turns in this show," Page says. "Because no, not everybody takes my advice! It gets dramatic. It gets deep!" In the high-stakes world of flipping, anything can happen.

Nashville Will Always Have a Place in Her Heart

After all, it's where she started her career in real estate and filmed her first HGTV series. "Nashville, I always say, grew me as a woman," says Page. "I moved there when I was 27. I left when I was 46. That's where I raised my family and watched my girls grow into these amazing women. I give a lot of that credit to Nashville and the support and stability that it gave me as a single mom and small-business owner."

She's a Natural-Born Go-Getter

Page has achieved a lot throughout her career. She's sold millions of dollars in property and executed more than 110 successful flips. Plus, she owned a brokerage that employed up to 40 agents. Her work-hard mentality, she says, comes from two role models she's looked up to her entire life. "My mother's an entrepreneur. My father's an entrepreneur. I worked for Magic Johnson for six years. I've always been around self-made entrepreneurs."

She Loves to Help People

An enterprising spirit isn't the only thing driving her successful career. "I became passionate [about real estate] when I found out how many people didn't know they could own a home," she says. "I was able to be part of their journey in that American dream."

She Is So Proud of Her Daughters

Despite all of her professional accomplishments, Page's proudest achievement by far is raising her three daughters Zaire, Qai and Quincy. As a single mom, real estate gave her the freedom to make money and have a strong presence in her daughters' lives. "I've never missed a volleyball practice, much less a game," she says. "I graduated three strong, brilliant, beautiful black women from college. We did it together, and that's what makes it beautiful."

Supportive Mothers Run in Her Family

Page's mom knew she was destined for the spotlight long before Page did. "My mother always says, 'Page you could've been doing this for years.' She put me in acting classes when I was younger, and it just didn't work out because of fear. I was scared," she says. Fast forward two TV series later: Page is a complete natural on screen. It's safe to say, mothers really do know best!

She Hopes to Provide Inspiration to Women

After establishing a fanbase from Flip or Flop Nashville, Page penned a book, The G.O. Life: Seize Your Greatest Opportunity. "I want to give back to women, single mothers or not. Just women in general that have big dreams," Page says. "Opportunities don't come around all the time, and when they do come around, you better grab it. That's what I would want to tell anybody who remotely looks up to me. Truly, if I can do this, you can, too!"

She's All About Effort and Execution

Page's biggest piece of advice? "Do the work, see the fruit," she says. "The hardest battle usually is mentally getting up to try to do something, but that's what I like to talk women through. How do we get past that so we can move from inspiration to execution?"

She's a Fitness Aficionado

When she's not weight training, she can pack a major punch in the boxing ring. "Health is wealth, right?" Page says. "If I'm not healthy, I can't make any of my dreams a reality." She even owns a fitness apparel line with her best friend. It's called The JoPa Life and, of course, it's all about celebrating women.

If She's Not on the Jobsite, She's in Nature

Like a true Californian, Page spends a lot of time enjoying the great outdoors — usually while lying on the beach or hiking local spots like Runyon Canyon. "I just love nature," she says. "I go to the beach almost every weekend. Even in the middle of the day, I'm like, let me just take my laptop and go to the beach."

Her 'Missed Calling' Might Surprise You

If she didn't make it in real estate, Page jokes she could've been, "a zombie on The Walking Dead." She's a day one fan of the cult classic series. "A lot of my strength comes from [the characters]," she shares. "Michonne taught me how to swing a sword around. Rick taught me how to light a fire."

IRL Fan Meetings Are Her Favorite

The best part about being on TV? "It's the opportunity to touch lives and inspire," she says. "I would never take it for granted. People — women mostly come up to me like, 'Page, I love how you designed this or that.' That's fun, but usually it means a little bit more, and I can feel that."
