Preparation
Line crackers in an air-tight container. In a small bowl, mix oil, dressing mix, pepper flakes and garlic powder until combined.
Spoon mixture evenly over crackers. Use a spoon or spatula to distribute the mixture around if needed.
Close the lid to the container tightly and flip the container over ever 5 minutes for a total of four to five flips. Lightly shake the container back and forth to help coat the crackers after each flip, then let the container sit for the remainder of each 5-minute period.
Place the coated crackers on an aluminum foil-lined cookie sheet. Use a spatula to scoop any remaining topping out of container and spread on top of crackers.
Bake crackers at 350 degrees for 6-8 minutes, or until crackers have dried. Let cool and store in a sealable plastic bag or air-tight container.
