Caramel Apple Sangria Recipe for Fall

Refreshing and oh-so-tasty, this fall sangria cocktail is perfect for sweater weather. The sweet-meets-tart caramel apple flavor develops as it chills, recreating the nostalgic taste of a classic seasonal treat.

  • 1 bottle of white wine
  • 1 cup caramel-flavored vodka
  • 1/2 teaspoon apple pie spice
  • 6 cups apple juice
  • 2 medium apples, cored and chopped
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1/2 cup prepared caramel sauce

Yield: 6 - 8 servings

Instructions

Start by pouring the bottle of white wine into a large glass pitcher (Image 1). Stir in the caramel-flavored vodka. Next, pour in the apple juice (Image 2). Add the apple pie spice and whisk vigorously to incorporate it into the mixture (Image 3).

Top the pitcher with chopped apples and cranberries; stir well. Chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Pour over ice, and ladle chopped apples and cranberries in each glass. Finish each glass with a small drizzle of caramel sauce over the fruit. Serve at your next fall party, football tailgate or Thanksgiving celebration.
