Slow-Cooker Holiday Cranberry Butter Recipe
This flavorful spread is delicious on warm, artisan breads and easy to serve up when holiday guests drop by.

Ingredients
Yield: 1 medium jar
- (2) 12-ounce bag cranberries
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup apple juice
- 1 whole cinnamon stick
- zest of 1 orange
Instructions
1: Place all ingredients into a slow cooker on high for approximately two hours.
2: After two hours, remove the cinnamon stick and puree the mixture in a food processor or blender.
3: Strain the mixture through a sieve, pushing the cranberries through with a spoon and discarding any solids.
4: Put the mixture back into the slow cooker for another two hours (or until thickened).
5: Once thickened, place in clean, airtight jars and refrigerate. Consume within a month.
