In this kitchen from Help! I Wrecked My House, designer Jasmine Roth used a breezy color palette, then layered in moody touches. Bright white cabinets with bronze hardware are balanced out by mossy-green tile and leather barstools. Reeded white oak paneling on the range hood draws the eye up and ties into the peninsula.

Sunlight spills into this airy space through a ceiling of arched windows and bounces off bronze sink hardware and cool-toned vintage accessories. Swathed in stunning Calacatta Turquoise Antico marble, the kitchen is where you'll likely find Jeremiah Brent (The Nate and Jeremiah Home Project) basking in the ceremony of cooking. “The smells that come from this room ... because of [Jeremiah], are incredible,” says Jeremiah's husband and co-host Nate Berkus.

In keeping with the home's original 1885 farmhouse style, designer Sarah Richardson chose new kitchen elements — like cabinets and energy-efficient appliances — that would blend well with period touches like the rustic tin pendants over the island. For added charm, she also hit salvage stores to find items like the turned newel post used to support one corner of the breakfast bar.
